This was taken on our recent trip to Skyline Drive. We hiked up to the top of Hawksbill Summit. At the top I caught a shot of this crow descending into the valley below
This was taken a couple of years ago during Fall at Skyline Drive. If you look closely, you can see my husband hiking beside the huge boulders.
This pier is locate in Frisco NC on Hatteras Island and has seen it’s better days due to hurricanes and nor’easter storms.
To me, the beach is one of those places where you can be Free and Easy. Even spending one day at the beach is like a mini vacation. This is a picture of my daughter and granddaughter in a free and easy moment pretending they are seagulls. You can see the gull they are imitating in the left side of the picture.
We took this “selfie” of us at the top of a mountain we had hiked on Skyline Drive a couple of weeks ago. The horizons are gorgeous there.
I took this picture in August on vacation at Hatteras Island. There are definitely some great horizons on those beaches.
…..with the Sound of Music. This is a picture of my GD on our recent trip to Skyline Drive. For some reason – it reminded me of the movie – The Sound of Music. Watching her run through this field was a joyful experience.
