This week I decided to use an oil painting filter in Topaz simplify. I have not used this plug in that much so I thought I would give it a try for this week. Here is the original and previous week’s entries. Thanx everyone for the “likes” and comments this month.
This week I cropped the image a little more and used an On One Glow preset called Soft and Muted. Here is the original and previous edits
This week I cropped the photo so that the blown highlights at the top are minimized and the path comes from the lower left corner (vs the middle) of the picture. Other than that not much else was edited.

We have been out of town – so I am catching up with photos, work etc. Here is my choice for the first edit. This was taken in the Great Smokey Mountains and was “tweaked” in LR.
This is a picture I took last fall and kept trying to decide if I wanted to do anything with it or delete it. As I was going through pictures – I thought I go ahead and do something with this one for the challenge. I did basic panel adjustments in LR and a little noise reduction and sharpening

Some seasonal color……
Our challenge today is to depict home. We are fortunate to live on a lake we share with others in our neighborhood. When I pull into the driveway, I often see beauty either on the like (ducks, herons etc) or beauty reflected in the lake. Today I saw fall beauty reflected.
This was taken on our recent trip to Skyline Drive. We hiked up to the top of Hawksbill Summit. At the top I caught a shot of this crow descending into the valley below
This was tough to find something that fit the theme – but I came across this and thought of how the players zig-zag down the field when they have the ball. Hope it works for you too 🙂
