Lens-Artists Challenge – A Quiet Moment

This week we are asked to share photos that depict a quiet moment in our lives. One of my favorite places to go is the beaches on Hatteras Island. Even in the summer – these beaches do not get crowded.

I also love the quiet of the morning where I can go around my yard with my camera and coffee and look for insects to photograph.

We are fortunate to live on a neighborhood lake where we can sit and enjoy the waterfowl go by and hear birds chirping all around us. It’s a huge reason why we have not sold a house that has grown too big for us.

  1. These are beautiful images Nora, sadly our beaches are nothing as peaceful as yours are, even though we are being told to stay away! Take care, keep well 🙂
