This shot was taken with a Lensbaby lens which allows for selective focus. The lens has a high learning curve since it is completely manual – but you can create some interesting photos with it.

Macro Moments Week 39 – Topic – Black and White

This is a red mandevilla flower. I keep clippings of these in a small pitcher on the kitchen counter for a pop of color. This was shot at ISO 800, f/2.8. 1/250 with a 100 mm macro.
