Macro Moments – Week 10

I participate in a theme based group on Flickr called Macro Mondays. This week’s theme was stars. This flower (purslane) makes a natural star that looks like a starfish to me. To get this photo – I used a lightbox and the 100mm macro lens. It’s also been cropped quite a bit.

Macro Moments – Week 7

This was taken at the edge of the lake where we can see a lot of dragonfly activities. I love these insects. I used the Canon 6D with the 100mm macro at ISO 1600 f9 1/125 and did my usual “tweaking” in the LR Basic Panel, noise reduction and a little sharpening.

One Four Challenge August 2016 Week 1

For some reason, I never edited this – but never deleted it either. Now I have an excuse to do something with it!! For this week I just tweaked in LR (basic panel, noise, sharpening).

Macro Moments – Week 6

These are tiny flowers on a plant called coral bells. I added a little texture effect. This was taken with Canon 7D, 100mm, ISO 400, f2.8 and 1/250.
