My original goal in this photo was to try and get the pelican lined up in flight with the sailboat in the background – little did I know that a dolphin wanted to join in on the fun. This was taken at Pea Island in Hatteras.

I was watching these birds fight over this bag that was in a trash can while stopped at a red light in my car. I was able to get a picture of the “winner” before the light changed!!!
