My granddaughter and I made peanut butter pine cones and she wanted to plant the leftover seeds. Amazingly, they are beginning to sprout in a pot by a window. Come on spring!!!!!! (Texture by Kim Klassen)

To me, the beach is one of those places where you can be Free and Easy. Even spending one day at the beach is like a mini vacation. This is a picture of my daughter and granddaughter in a free and easy moment pretending they are seagulls. You can see the gull they are imitating in the left side of the picture.
