I think I have posted a picture of one of these gentle creatures previously. I go by the farm regularly and if I have my camera and they are near the road, I pull over and take a picture. We live in the “burbs” so it’s great to see this open area with beauty on 4 legs.

Photos of Summer-June 11-Impatiens Flower
Our backyard is fairly shady and these flowers thrive in the shade. They come in lots of colors and can really brighten up flowerbeds, hanging baskets etc. Too bad they are not perennials. I played with the editing a bit using the Glamour Glow filter in NIK Color Efex.

First dragonfly pictures of this summer. These insects definitely fit the Fleeting category – if you don’t believe me just watch me chasing them around my yard to get a picture.

We planted these a couple of weeks ago in a hanging basket outside and they are still alive!!! I can’t remember what they are called – they have a mum like look to them. There’s lots of buds, so it looks like we will continue to enjoy them.
