We spent the weekend in my favorite place – Hatteras Island. While the weather was cool – the winds were perfect for flying kites. I love this one of my granddaughter.

Weekly Photo Challenge – Up
I prefer seeing these cute creatures UP in the trees as opposed to UP in the eaves of our house chewing the wood 🙂
Weekly Photo Challenge – Up
Snapdragon Beauty
Suffice to say that I love macro photography. I am always amazed by the beauty that God brings us daily. The patterns and colors in this flower captured my attention. Snapdragons are great flowers to enjoy through the summer. Thanx for the views
Blueberries Blooming
We have a small blueberry bush that has these delicate small flowers. We never see berries probably because the birds eat them. At least we can enjoy the flowers. I added texture to this – credit to Kim Klassen for the texture. Thanks for the views.
Pretty Lady
Finally, warm weather is here and I am able to work in our flowerbeds cleaning and weeding. The trees in our front beds were attracting the bees and as a bonus – this lovely lady. Thanks for the views !!
Pink Beauty
My grand daughter gave me these beautiful delicate looking pink mums for Easter. I am planting them in my yard and I hope that I will be able to enjoy them year after year.
Red Beauty
I was dropping my grand daughter off at school and happened to have my camera with me. There is a marshy area next to the parking lot and I saw a red object in the reeds. When I got close enough – I realized it was this beautiful cardinal. I am always amazed by the beauty that is around us.
Colors Changing
The filled feeders are attracting the goldfinches. This one is in the process of changing. I just love all the color on him.
